My name is Lisa Kasper and I recently became a member of the ABATE of MN, Lake chapter. Let me tell you why: In August of 2002 my brother, Steve(Circus Boy) Kreitlow who was the former president of Lake chapter was killed in a bike accident in Sturgis. I felt by becoming a member it would help ease the pain of losing him. I would love to hear from anyone that would like to respond to me.

I am the vice president of the Rochester Chapter of the Warthogs MC (formerly the Wild Pigs). We would like to invite your members to attend our 2nd Annual "Go Ugly Early" party at Mr. V's on Empire Blvd. The party will be from 3-6 with food, beer, wine, soda and live music. The cost is $25.00. We have attended other chapter parties in other states and have found many of the attendees are members of their local motorcycle clubs and we would like to extend that to our area. If you want more information about what the Warthogs are you can check out out website at www.warthogsmc.com. If you would like to contact me directly you can reach me at (585) 281-6166. And if you are going to attend we need a headcount about a week in advance. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, Everyone! Would like to know if anyone had a photo of Rollie that was used for his memorial on this site. I wanted to use this to print t-shirt/tank top for the Biketoberfest. Unfortunately, RochesterRides e-mailed us stating that they didn't have the photo?! I would appreciate it if anyone could find out and let me know as I think it would be nice for Daytona. I received one e-mail from one of the members that is going and willing to meet up. Hope that there will be others. Sorry for your recent loss of another member. Will keep in touch. God Bless! Marylee

I remember Rollie from the old days and his passing will be a great loss to all. I wish his family the best. On another matter Monroe chapter might want to take our old business name "Cyclone Ventures" off their mailing list. My ol' lady "Cyclone" after her 18th operation is no longer able to vend and I "TSAR" am running heavy equipment for a living. We still have a Triumph, one of many bikes we've had, but it'll probably be the last. We wish all of you the very best and hope you always fight back. Personal freedoms may be the most important of all. Ride free brothers and sisters. TSAR

To All members, my deepest sympathy to the loss of former ABATE President, Roland A. Marchetti. He was sincerely the most adorable, funniest, gentle, kindest, loveable of all mankind. I was Rollie's girlfriend while he was President in 1996, the summer before I moved to Florida. I visited Rollie every summer when I came home, in addition, many phone calls. All this year, Rollie kept be skepical because our phone calls were minimal and short. He never told me about his illness. When I came home this summer, I called him and his daughter answered the phone, stating that he may not be able to talk. He did manage to talk to me, but said he couldn't and I replied that I would call in a couple of days. After several messages, he never called me back which is unusual and I knew something was wrong and I still didn't know how to get in touch w/ him. I had to return back to Florida and again, I called. This time the phone had been disconnected. In panic, I remembered that I had saved his daughter's phone number in Calgary, hoping that it had not changed. I spoked w/ her on the 12th and learned the shocking news. I called him the next day, not knowing it would be the last. We only spoke for a moment and I was happy that I was able to tell him that I loved him and ditto. I called every day since and he was unable to talk to me. On Sunday, exactly 10 minutes after 5 P.M. I called and received sad news of his passing. I want to let everyone know how much I loved him and the regrets that I have. Rollie wanted to marry me and told me that if I wasn't married w/n 5 years he would. This month was 5 years. Instead of saying "goodbye" on my last day, I wished he had proposed and I would have joyfully accepted and never left for Florida. Now my life will never be the same. I attended his wake and funeral and had a chance to talk w/ a few members, specifically, Brendan Miller. Rolle and I had plans to meet up at the Biketoberfest this year. I would like to know if any members are going and that we can meet up, possibly, do a tribute in his honor. I will be staying at Inn On The Beach. Please e-mail me as I think Rollie would be honored and happy to know that he will not be forgotten. Thank you for taking the time to read this as I continue to try relieving my mourning. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS ROLLIE and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!! Love, Marylee

Two hundred twenty-five years have passed since the first soldier fell in the effort to make America free and now another brave soldier in the battle has fallen. I speak of none other than Michelle Hall, Freedom Fighter, Patriot, sister, friend and commrade in arms. There is nothing more honorable, noble and glorious then sacrificing the "ultimate price" in ones defense of so many hard fought freedoms. Take heart brothers and sisters for our existence is a three battle war. We fought it before we came to earth and those of who have fought here will continue the battle in the next life as others look on in awe and wonder. MICHELLE, YOU NEVER LOOKED ON.

I am so heartbroken over the loss of one of our finest ABATE members - Michelle. She will always be missed... she was so actively involved, so warm and friendly, so much to me and all who were close to her. I have to believe she is riding free as a bird in heaven...she was also a good Christian woman! It grieves me so, we have lost such an invaluable staff member and human being. I will miss you Michelle... and I pray too - each year on July 4th. our ABATE Monroe Co. chapter will hold a ride or benefit for you... in loving memory - i will miss you! Deepest sympathies and love.... Dennis Wayne MO 1392

Great site.Somehow someway I hope you finally get rid of your lid law.Being that im from southwestern Connecticut it doesnt take very long to get to the NY border and soon as that happens i got to turn around but if i do come over with a helmet on its the most agonizing thing to have to wear especially when its 90 plus degrees.I saw that piece about your adversary legislator by the name of Gant.If he were ever to act that way here he would be discredited and voted out.Good luck in this years legislative session and get that lid law off the books

Great site. Being a webmaster, I like to find places to get ideas. I was rumaging around in someones guestbook and Monroe Co. caught my attention. Thats only because I used to spend a lot of time there (18 yrs - Kodak). Met some guys running spiked tires out on Irondiquoit Bay once, and we had a blast. I still get out in the cold. It was 13 degrees on Christmas when we got the Wide Glide out and made a run through town. Have a good New Year and stop by our site and say hi.

Hello Gang, Long time no see or hear. Finally had a chance to visit and I am impressed, as usual Monroe County is a class act. Read the events schedule and remembered all the years of Bike show, Hamlin, Hemrod, piccking up trash on the 531,and yes dont forget Binghmaton (and my merry-go-round bed). I have tried several times to schedule my visits up htere with a meeting but it just seem to happen, We would love to see you guys again. Georgia ABATE sucks (of course when you have been part of the best, what can one expect). No most of these guys are new leather with an attitude, they are not bikers, they just own a Harley. Everyone is welcome here, we are one mile off I-85 at Jimmy Carter Blvd. 20 miles north of " the city". And next week there will be two RV, camps sites at Myrtle Beach in Cherry Grove, one mile from the beach. Anyone headed that way let us know and you will have a place to stay. Funny how you sometimes dont know you have a friend till he's not there. John and Bonnie

A partial text of the "exchange" of words between State Assemblyman David Gantt and myself, a constituent of his:
Gantt: What are you people doing here, I'm not afraid of you.
Jed: We are here to show our displeasure with your failure to represent the legal wishes of those that you allegedly represent and believe me sir you have nothing to be afraid of.
Gantt: Well, you are a f _ _king a_ _hole, and I don't represent you!
Jed: No I'm not, I'm one of your constituents and you are right, you have not represented me even though I paid you for it.
Gantt: Where do you live?
Jed: I live on Chamberlain Street next to the transit company.
Gantt: Well I don't represent Chamberlain Street.
Jed: I don't think that you represent anybody but yourself, however if you took the time to walk around the 133rd district you will find out what the boundaries are.
Gantt: You don't tell me what to do, and you will never get those helmets off.
Jed: We already know that you are an impossible tyrant, and that is why we are here and will keep coming back as long as you are in office.
Gantt: You will never get me out of office!
Jed: After your disgusting display and name calling, you don't deserve to be in office, not now, not ever!
